have you ever...

bought clothes that you don't wear because they don't look or feel right?

attended a business meeting and felt your presentation let you down?

arrived at a party and felt like your outfit wasn't right for the occasion?

felt bewildered with fashion in magazines or in clothing stores?

looked in the mirror and something you used to love no longer works?

You may be ready for a de-clutter in your wardrobe‚ a clean out‚ maybe you are sick of never having anything to wear‚ need a confidence boost‚ or have an occasion to go to and can’t decide what to wear‚ approaching a significant birthday or celebration? getting married? have a post-baby-body? crisis survivor? packing for an overseas trip? maybe you feel like you want a change?

Amilie Taylor is trustyle...and true to her name (Amilie n. industrious and hard working; Taylor n. tailor, cutter of cloth) she likes to be busy and loves dressing up! Her experience is extensive and varied having studied and worked in the competitive fashion industries in the UK and New Zealand. Massey University, Wellington accredits her Bachelor of Design (Fashion) and Diploma of Fashion Design and Technology.

Based in Wellington, trustyle is now servicing women’s wardrobes and speaking at events in the Wellington region and around New Zealand including Christchurch and Auckland.

What sets trustyle apart? It is the freedom you get from knowing what suits you. Amilie loves what she does and wants you to feel as though you are taking part in something special. Choose the expert if you want to dress your body well, you need someone who knows what they are doing - not someone who thinks taking people shopping is a 'fun' thing to do. Take something and make it new.

trustyle has a goal to change how New Zealand society views women. Not as doormats, not as power trippers, but as empowered and entrusted women who embrace their beauty. Women need to stand up and be counted, supporting the men without being controlling. trustyle wants people to feel good in what they are wearing and at ease with themselves. Overwhelmingly, women deal with hardships. Everyday women‚ tall women‚ short women‚ women in refuges‚ battling or recovering from cancer‚ women released from prison‚ just every woman. trust wants to be recognised for its ability to view fashion and clothing from the point of the real woman. trustyle is accessible to everyone, building women up to be all they can be, no matter their current situation.

As a business, trustyle believes in helping women look as good as they possibly can, regardless of who they are. Style is neither following the current trends or wearing clothes that make you feel uncomfortable. trustyle is about finding a ‘fit’ that suits the natural flow of your body. The more you study your body, the easier it is to look great. trustyle is not all about the rules, but begins with a sense of who you are and your self-confidence. Some older ladies wear really ‘young’ clothes and look ridiculous, others look incredible. Why? Personality, confidence, attitude. The same applies for the rule that larger women should never wear horizontal stripes…but some curvy women look amazing in horizontal stripes. Why is this? Their personality over riding the rules, because sometimes rules are meant to be broken...

may the work that I do and the way I do it bring hope
